Art-ecology is a selection of work by San Francisco-based artist, naturalist and educator Amber Hasselbring and collaborators. Presented here is everything from building backyard ponds for the Pacific Chorus frog – to telling the story of the Western Tiger Swallowtail butterfly and its home on Market Street – to documenting the progress of the Mission Greenbelt project, an ongoing community-built urban earth artwork of sidewalk gardens designed for pollinators and songbirds.
